Best of all, because the price is relatively low, this phone’s going to be an absolute bargain for those looking for decent and fast modern phone.
Hardware and Software
I like the photo quality of the camera, and I like that the phone is otherwise a super-fast performer, with especially rapid acceleration when you press the power button.
A leak from a sub-indie Chinese device manufacturer has shown the Xiaomi phone (which will be called Realme Narzo) in one of its developer prototypes and it looks like it runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat (which is ‘old’) with the latest version of the company’s mobile operating system that’s not the Essential Phone.
Android Oreo, however, is highly likely to follow, something for the chaps in Bangalore that make the hardware to pay attention to.
This clearly isn’t intended for high-end users and the top-end quad-core 2.3GHz processor and 3GB of RAM seems a little weak for that purpose.
But the phone’s got a decent camera and a rather satisfyingly-sounding 3,000mAh battery. And at 15.99 dollars, and with a very small thing called a ‘Lite’ version for a ‘mere’ 2 dollars and 200 nimes Coins, I expect it to sell out quickly.
